Welcome to the new and exciting Quarter Orange news blog! Quarter Orange is a local production company formed in early 2008. The founding members all graduates and students of the art institute of Portland.
“QO” as it is affectionately called is committed to creating opportunities for our community of creative professionals.
In August we won the Portland Mercury’s “My Pretty Portland” contest with a montage of our Robot shorts. Robot is our buddy that we have been working with now for a while and he’s great check him out.
Jason Windsor’s “Retrospect”, along with Walker Williamson’s “The Old Man and his Grandson” are currently in the submission process for independent film festivals around the country. Also look for Quarter Orange’s “Uncle” to hit the festival circuit soon.
Kyle Glenn’s “This Chemical Life” will be premiering on the big screen at Hollywood Cinema on Thursday December 18, 2008 as part of the Art Institute’s Senior showcase.
“Dos Hermanos Tacos”, a comedy written and directed by Elijah Shell wrapped production in October and is in post-production till March.
